Warehouse Janitor ($20-$21/hr) Pay Incentives
- Attendance Incentive – Up to $2400 bonus for good attendance.
- Referral Bonus – Up to $500 per referral.
- Hiring Bonus – Up to $1000.
- Step increase program – Pay increases by $0.50 after 90 days and again after 180 days (Material Handlers Only).
- Certified/qualified Forklift/Walkie Rider/Cherry Picker drivers will receive an additional $0.50 per hour.
- Certified/qualified Reach Truck drivers will receive an additional $1.00 per hour.
- A Shift Sun‑Wed 5am – 3:30pm
- C Shift M, Tue, Thu, Fri 5am – 3:30pm
- W Shift Sun, Mon, Fri, Sat 5am – 3:30pm
- B Shift Wed‑Sat 5am – 3:30pm
General upkeep of the office building. Ensuring the building(s) are clean and in orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions per specifications.
- Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
- Drive vehicles required for cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies manually or using hand trucks.
- Notify managers regarding major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas using snowplows, snow blowers, and snow shovels, and spread snow‑melting chemicals.
- Requisition supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation.
As directed.
Other RequirementsBasic knowledge of repair techniques; experience or training as a custodian.
Advanced Skills- Sanitation for Food Facility
- Finishing/Refinishing Floors
- Forklift Driver
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months experience.
Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively. Ability to read, analyze, and write. Ability to follow orders and respond to management questions.
Physical Demands- Occasionally reach/lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Crouch or crawl under 48" high shelf; ascend/descend a 14" step.
- Activate phone systems with keyboards and buttons.
- Work in indoor/office environment with repetitive hand motion.
- Talk, hear, stand, and walk frequently.
- Work over 8 continuous hours when required.
- Read and discern visual images with 20/20 corrected vision.
- Communicate clearly over telephone.
- In sound physical health; no controlled substances.
Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles. Noise level ranges from quiet to moderately loud.
