Maintenance Coordinator

The Maintenance Coordinator plans, directs, coordinates and controls all stores maintenance to ensure proper safety, sanitation and mechanical functions for the stores. The work schedule includes on-call responsibilities to address emergency store issues as well as planned maintenance and may include evenings and weekends.

• Coordinate all maintenance work to properly maintain Ideal Market stores and other entities such as KBM, Campo Rico, La Chula, Orleans Ave, Cricket, etc.
• Coordinate all required building inspections and provide inspection reports to Management.
• Evaluate maintenance requests, set priorities, and process work assignments.
• Plan, organize, direct, and control the daily operations of the department and its employees.
• Respond promptly to maintenance and repair needs. May work with vendors for maintenance and repair when outsourcing is necessary.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors, employees, and others.
• Estimate costs, including labor, materials, and contracted services, for each work order.
• Order necessary construction and maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies under Management's direction and ensure the best price is obtained.
• Maintain an updated inventory of tools, equipment, utensils, and any departmental materials.
• Track all maintenance issues, store records, and provide weekly reports to Management detailing issues, resolutions, and status of pending requests.
• Develop and maintain files to track and ensure all warranties are up to date.
• Responsible for maintaining store equipment and keeping a repair contact directory for easy reference.
• Review service invoices, completed work, etc., to ensure accurate payments at the best price.
• Prepare preventive maintenance plans aligned with the company's maintenance objectives.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar or related field.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills, along with excellent organizational abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
