Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper
A private family in Surfside, Florida, is seeking an experienced Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper to help maintain their residence.
The family consists of a couple and their 8 year old daughter. The residence is a two story, approximately 10k sq. ft single-family home. A second Housekeeper works Monday through Friday from 7AM to 4PM, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable working as part of a team.
Work Schedule: Live-out, Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Days Off: Sundays and Mondays
Responsibilities
- Perform daily housekeeping and maintain the residence to high-end standards
- Clean and organize all assigned areas of the home
- Handle family laundry and household linens
- Care for, organize, and properly store linens
- Maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness
- Assist with kitchen cleanup after dinner
- Wash and prepare fruits and vegetables
- Clean and organize the refrigerator
- Receive deliveries and put away groceries
- Monitor household supplies and maintain inventory
- Work closely with the other Housekeeper as part of a team
- Provide light pet care for the family's small, 10-year-old toy poodle
- Maintain the residence while the family travels during the summer
- Perform additional household duties as needed
No regular cooking is required; however, the candidate should be comfortable providing light assistance in the kitchen and cleaning up after dinner.
The family spends part of the summer in the Hamptons. The Housekeeper will remain employed year-round and will continue maintaining the Surfside residence while the family is away.
Requirements
- Previous experience cleaning and maintaining high-end private residences
- Excellent laundry, linen care, and organizational skills
- Ability to work well with another Housekeeper as part of a team
- Child-friendly and comfortable working in a home with an 8-year-old child
- Comfortable caring for a small dog
- Able to maintain discretion and respect the family's privacy
- Seeking a long-term position
Compensation and Benefits
- $35 to $40 per hour, depending on experience, Paid time off, Long-term, year-round employment
