Overview
This position complies with the Respect of Florida Program
, a Florida-based initiative to promote employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Through nonprofit agencies, the program provides employment opportunities in the areas of custodial, landscaping, and food preparation services to a multitude of County and State agencies. The program requires that 51-75% of the services provided be completed by individuals who meet the definition of a federal disability. Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Keeps the assigned area in a clean and orderly condition
- Prepare chemicals for use in the performance of various cleaning tasks, by instructions
- Care for equipment and perform routine maintenance and cleaning as needed
- Perform cleaning duties as instructed and assigned, including but not limited to:
- Restroom cleaning, replenishing paper products, and soap in restrooms.
- Office cleaning, empty trash receptacles, dust surfaces, damp wipe surfaces, vacuum, sweep
- Removal of trash
- Floor cleaning, sweep, dust mop, damp mop, and wet mop
- Performance of cleaning duties may take place in an indoor/outdoor environment, depending on the customer’s needs
- All other duties as assigned
