Mas Tec is currently seeking a Customer Service Specialist to work as an FPL representative for the Storm Secure Underground Program. The Storm Secure Underground Program analyzes data from past hurricanes and vegetation‑related service interruptions, along with other reliability metrics, to identify areas that would most benefit from having power lines placed underground. We’ve completed hundreds of neighborhood projects throughout our service area and plan to continue expanding undergrounding benefits to more customers in the future.

• Work flexible 8‑hour daily schedules that include nights and Saturdays as required.
• Contact each property owner to discuss the project and proposed equipment placement and, if required, relocate equipment based on customer preferences.
• Serve as a Florida notary and execute and notarize FPL real‑estate easements.
• Obtain the customer’s agreement to proceed with the project as planned and acquire all necessary signatures for easements and acknowledgement forms.
• Wear steel‑toe boots daily while working in the field and all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Drive company vehicles monitored by driver‑camera systems and maintain a 950+ driver score.
• Maintain ongoing communication with property owners and occupants throughout all project stages, following company policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills, purposeful follow‑up, and documentation skills.
• Communicate professionally in person, over the phone, and via email with customers, staff, and vendors.
• Read and understand construction and engineering plans.
• Coordinate special projects as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) – preferred.
• Associate degree – preferred.

Operates in a professional office environment and frequently uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and scanners. The position is primarily sedentary, with some filing or lifting; the employee must be able to bend and carry up to 20 pounds.
