Floor Technician

Schedule and Location

Fort Lauderdale – Monday through Friday, 10 pm to 5 am (40 hours per week)

• Experience in waxing and stripping floors.
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Perform all assigned tasks in a professional manner.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors, tile, and carpets.
• Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Always observe safety precautions.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
• Work independently or as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Report safety hazards as appropriate.
• Adhere to dress code, wearing company uniform.
• Report to work in a timely manner.
• Represent the organization positively and professionally.
• Comply with all company policies and standard procedures.
• Communicate the mission, ethics and goals of the organization.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of floor technician experience.
• Flexible availability (days, weekends, on‑call).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail‑oriented and meticulous.
• Strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset.
• Must maintain a strong awareness of safety and proactive leadership approach.

• Good physical condition and able to perform extended walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 25 pounds or more regularly.
• Capable of working on feet for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
