Job Overview

As a Package Handler, you will play a crucial role improving our residents' experience by ensuring prompt and precise package processing in our high-rise apartment buildings. As part of our dedicated team, you will manage all package-related operations seamlessly, prioritizing convenience and security for our residents.

• Carry out the day-to-day tasks
• Ensure that residents receive their packages on time and without damage
• Develop, implement, and communicate packing and delivery strategies to streamline work
• Receive and process all types of packages, and deliveries maintaining a flawless package management system
• Sort and track packages from receipt by the building to receipt by addressee/package owner
• Document custody transfers from receipt to delivery
• Organize package storage area for efficiency and safety
• Communicate effectively with team members and residents about issues related to package delivery or non-receipt
• Safely perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting packages
• Handle packages with the utmost care, skillfully avoiding any drops or abrupt movements that might result in injury or potential damage

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Multiple language fluency is desirable
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required

• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. Heavy lifting required (baggage handling)
• Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time
• Handle, finger, grasp and lift objects and packages
• Reach with hands and arms
• Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word
• Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions
• Complete all required forms
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements
• Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner

Wed to Sun 11 am to 7 pm
