Job Duties

  • Perform day-to-day facility maintenance and repairs, including basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, doors, fixtures, and lighting
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment; document and report findings
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent facility issues; act as a first responder to system failures when needed
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot facility issues to minimize downtime
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall safety of the facility and surrounding areas
  • Set up, break down, and relocate furniture, equipment, and materials as required
  • Ensure supply rooms and bathrooms are properly stocked at all times
  • Perform cleaning duties when required
  • Coordinate and oversee vendors and outside contractors for specialized repairs or larger projects
  • Assist with facility-related projects and improvements
  • Monitor and respond to security and safety concerns
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
  • Work indoors and outdoors, including at heights, as required
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner
  • Be available to work weekends and flexible schedules as needed
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of general maintenance systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills; able to work independently and take ownership of issues
  • Hands‑on experience using hand and power tools, multimeters, and basic diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and perform physical tasks throughout the day
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions and at heights
  • Strong communication skills; able to interact professionally with management and staff
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly dependable
  • Proactive mindset; identifies and addresses issues without waiting to be directed
  • Calm under pressure and solutions‑oriented
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and pride in maintaining the facility
