Crew Chief Water in Miami

Established in 2005, the Water Restoration Group (WRG) is an industry leader in emergency mitigation and restoration based in Miami and servicing the tri‑county market. WRG is a full‑service contractor looking to hire a full‑time Crew Chief/Supervisor to provide water, fire, mold, and construction services.

You must have crew chief experience.

• Respond to emergency service calls during business and after hours.
• Assign technicians within your team to emergency projects.
• Communicate with customers and inform of job progress daily.
• Document job site conditions in restoration software.
• Keep track of profitability, expenses, and other project metrics.

• Obtain work authorization.
• Get customer time sheet signed daily per job.
• Clock in and out according to job in designated software.
• Fill out necessary paperwork.
• Record job notes into software upon visit.
• Take various photos of job sites and record them in software.
• Get certificate of satisfaction signed upon job completion by customer.

Knowledge of MS Office, databases, and spreadsheets.

• Basic accounting principles knowledge.
• Possess leadership qualities.
• Communicate well; verbally and written.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Maintain accurate records.
• High school diploma required; some college preferred.

Industry Experience.

This is a full‑time position from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, including after‑hour on‑call emergencies and weekends. The schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the company. Travel may be required during hurricane season or for large losses.

Employees are solely responsible for their time management and clocking in and out within appropriate programs to ensure proper documentation of hours worked.

Regularly required to work long hours, use equipment, climb ladders, go up and down stairs, perform demolition, use hand tools, and handle materials up to 50 pounds. Requires standing, walking, using hands, and working in all types of weather and environments.

Predominantly on the field within luxury condos, commercial businesses, and residential buildings. Sites often dirty, cold, wet, or unsanitary. PPE and safety precautions are provided.
