Entry Level Service Technician

This entry level position will be traveling daily to customer sites within a designated territory, performing routine maintenance and repairs to customer core product lines of cash handing products, ATMs & ITMs, conventional bank equipment and electronic security equipment ensuring minimal downtime of equipment. The incumbent in this role will job shadow more senior level positions, to train on servicing equipment on the Company’s core products.

They may interact daily with customers or their designated contacts to ensure customer satisfaction with our services and may collect information on equipment requiring escalation to a senior technician for review.

• Travel daily to customer sites within a designated territory to service equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on cash handling products, ATMs & ITMs, conventional bank equipment, and electronic security equipment.
• Shadow more senior technicians to learn servicing procedures and product knowledge.
• Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction and collect information for escalation when needed.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent military or trade school preferred
  .

• Valid Driver’s License
• Acceptable Driving Record

  Skills:
  
  Proficient in computer software applications such as Android apps including timecards, expenses, inventory control management.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:
  Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues; disassemble and repair assemblies.
• Technical Knowledge:
  Understanding of input settings and configuration of equipment; provide feedback on product performance; apply training principles on the job.

• Able to lift 50 pounds or less frequently, 100 pounds or less occasionally; overhead lifting may be required.
• Able to move 50 pounds or less frequently, 100 pounds or less occasionally.
• Able to push/pull objects with moderate effort frequently; maximum effort occasionally.
• Able to sit and/or stand 2 hours continuously, up to 8 hours per day; able to remain on feet for 2 hours continuously.
• Must be able to manipulate small objects with close eye-hand coordination for the entire shift.
• Able to perform motor skills such as grasping, finger manipulation, pinching, bending, reaching, twisting, and torqueing for 2 hours continuously.
• Able to effectively communicate with customers orally and in writing.
• Able to see objects closely, discriminate colors, and perceive depth continuously.
• Able to remember multiple tasks and apply concepts over long periods.
• Able to drive between sites to provide technical support.
• Driving may be up to 4–6 hours per day and occasionally up to 10 hours.
• Must be able to use power tools such as a drill or saw overhead.
• Able to climb ladders up to 20 feet high.
