Aramark is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support a hotel property in Miami, FL. In this hands-on role, you'll keep the building in good working condition by handling day-to-day repairs, including painting, caulking, doors, lighting, and basic plumbing tasks. You'll work indoors in an active hotel environment where reliability and attention to detail matter. This role is ideal for someone with prior hotel, condo, or facilities maintenance experience who enjoys solving problems and working with their hands.
The schedule is 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM with days off on Friday and Saturday. If you're dependable, flexible, and have a strong technical mindset, this is a great opportunity to build your maintenance career with Aramark.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair work across the hotel (guest rooms and public areas)
- Handle painting, patching, and caulking to maintain appearance and functionality
- Troubleshoot and repair doors, locks, lighting fixtures, and minor electrical issues
- Complete basic plumbing repairs such as leaks, clogs, and fixture replacements
- Inspect building areas regularly and address maintenance issues proactively
- Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
- Complete routine maintenance checklists (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Report larger repair needs or equipment failures to management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Interact professionally with guests and staff in a customer-facing hotel setting
Qualifications Required
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a hotel, condo, or similar facility
- Strong hands-on skills in general maintenance (painting, doors, lighting, plumbing)
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete basic repairs independently
- Flexible, reliable, and willing to learn on the job
- Ability to work scheduled shift: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, including operational needs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift
Preferred
- HVAC experience or technical training
- Experience working in hospitality or customer-facing environments
- Familiarity with maintenance tracking or inspection routines
