Position Summary

This position is responsible for all facets of the preventive maintenance and repair of airplanes to ensure all Amerijet aircraft meet appropriate quality standards and safety requirements and are ready for flight. The Manager Line Maintenance oversees 24/7-line maintenance operations to ensure a safe, compliant, sustainable and operationally world-class airline.

The Manager Line Maintenance oversees 24/7-line maintenance operations to ensure a safe, compliant, sustainable and operationally world-class airline.

Job Responsibilities include The Following, But Not Limited To

Lead and oversee Amerijet’sline maintenance operations in Miami.

Directassigned maintenance personnel to ensure safe,on‑time completion of all work assigned and to provide serviceable airworthyaircraftfor scheduled operations.

Coordinate personnel schedules to provide adequatemanpowercoverage as needed to support ofaircraftmaintenance operations.

Assign mechanics for AOG support,rescue, and coverage for non-maintenance stations

Direct all maintenance activities performed by his/her work section toensure:discipline, efficientutilizationof assigned personnel, quantity and quality of production, and cleanliness of facilities during the shifts.

Maintain work shift log of all work in progress, completed, or carried over. Perform proper inter-shift hand-off procedure.

Ensure assigned personnel are qualified to perform eachmaintenancefunction assigned to them.

Coordinate with Maintenance Control and Quality Control, as required.

Establish working schedules of all assigned personnel that will be adequate for the required production schedule.

Manage overtime and fatigue awareness.

Ensure that all records and reports that are required by Maintenance aremaintainedand sent at appropriate times. Ensure that Maintenance Control anddown-line stations are aware of any maintenance problems leaving this station, giving as much information as possible to helpexpediterepairs.

Ensure the quality of work and proper documentation, making, if applicable, the necessary corrections prior to work completion.

Accountable for the control and security of company property.

Performadditionalduties as assigned.

Performance Standards/Measurements

Become familiar with the Company policies, procedures, duties and responsibilities of the position and all subordinate maintenance staff asset forth inthis General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and associated flight operations staff asset forth inthe General Operations Manual.

Amerijet’sSafety Management System (SMS) components,Safety Policy, and behavioral  familiar with and promote

Amerijet’sconfidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP).Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures, and risk controls.

Consistently follow Company policies and procedures (including governmental and safety) and departmental Standard Operating Procedures.

Maintain communication with allinvolved parties.

Maintainaccurateand concise records/files.

Regular attendance and punctuality.

Work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice.

Well-groomed and able tomaintaina professional appearance.

Required Qualifications And Skills

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diplomaminimum, with college preferred.

Must hold a current and valid FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings, with Boeing 767 qualified with certification and training records (engine run ups and taxi).Min. seven (7) years of experience working asan aircraft maintenance technician and min. 3yearof supervisory experience eithermaintainingthe same category and class of airplane as the Company uses.

Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Amerijet policies and acceptable laws.
