What You’ll DoAs a Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll oversee the physical health, safety, and appearance of one or more apartment communities. You’ll lead the maintenance team, manage priorities, and ensure that residents experience a clean, safe, and well‑maintained place to call home.
You’ll be responsible for both leadership and hands‑on support, making sure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards.
You’ll take ownership of:- Overseeing day‑to‑day maintenance operations across assigned property/properties
- Leading, scheduling, and supporting on‑site maintenance staff and vendors
- Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, and exterior components
- Inspecting move‑out units, documenting damages, and preparing condition reports
- Planning, prioritizing, and assigning daily work orders
- Ordering maintenance supplies and parts through approved vendors
- Monitoring property safety, compliance, and OSHA standards
- Maintaining emergency procedures and participating in after‑hours on‑call coverage
- Reviewing snow removal activity and vendor logs
- Ensuring curb appeal and common areas meet company expectations
- Communicating with residents professionally regarding maintenance concerns
- Collaborating with the Property Manager to stay within budget and meet property goals

- Previous experience leading or supervising maintenance staff preferred
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, appliances, painting, and general building systems
- Ability to diagnose issues, prioritize repairs, and guide others effectively
High school diploma or equivalent (EPA/HVAC certifications a plus) - Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and attention to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work both indoors and outdoors
- A professional attitude, leadership mindset, and pride in your work
