Position SummaryAs a Nace Inspector
, you will work with a safety-first team to manage assigned projects related to cathodic protection and NACE inspection. Interfaces with customer and stakeholders to ensure all needs and expectations are met and/or exceeded.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Communicate with Supervisor on all issues related to project timeline, completion, etc.
- Performs regular equipment and vehicle maintenance.
- Interfaces with customers as appropriate and maintains a working relationship with all stakeholders.
- Performs field projects such as annual cathodic protection surveys.
- Responsible for performing cathodic protection work.
- Troubleshoots cathodic protection systems and installs cathodic protection system components.
- Compiles information and documentation for cathodic protection reporting.
- Actively participates in JSA and uses all necessary steps to complete tasks safely and ensures the safety of others working in the area.
- Communicates with all levels of management and crew to effectively present any needs and changes.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Ability to adhere to a written method or procedure.
- Confidence to STOP work immediately when a problem is identified.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, preferred.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products, preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
