We are currently seeking a Lead Building Maintenance Technician to lead a 3 - 5 person maintenance team! This person must be self motivated, have a friendly demeanor and able to collaborate with others. You will be responsible for coordinating work orders & special projects in an organized and expeditious manner. This is not meant to be a complete list of responsibilities and or qualifications.

• Complete or assign work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Estimate time and analyze the extent of repairs
• Perform routine preventive maintenance by maintaining a proactive maintenance schedule
• Spring & fall property cleans ups
• Maintain material and supply inventory
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors and vendors as necessary
• Maintain good working relationship with building management & club members

• Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields to include but not limited to:
• 10+ years HVAC experience, Boiler, Plumbing, Electrical, Irrigation, Building Control & Security Systems
• Fundamental understanding of maintenance tools and equipment
• Minor carpentry
• Ability to handle a physical workload
• Light Interior Demolition
• Task deadline and detail-oriented
• Valid Driver License
• Reliable transportation
• Must have a good attitude and be able to effectively communicate with building owners, tenants, club management, club members, project managers, vendors and office staff. The technician would be in charge of a large resort facility in Detroit and must have the ability to be on call when the schedule demands.
• Technician must have computer skills to be able to navigate the email system, retain work orders and be able to work within the company's software platform.
• Certifications would be well recognized.

This is a year round, full time position.
