Day Porter - Clarkston

JOB SUMMARY
General duties include, but not limited to maintaining and cleaning/disinfecting public areas, restrooms and waiting rooms within hospitals and other medical facilities. On-call for medical tenant requests, emergency spills and stocking restrooms. Communicates regularly with property management to ensure the best possible service to the client. Must be attentive to tenant needs in a professional, polite manner. This position reports to the Site Supervisor/Manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS - ESSENTIALS FUNCTIONS

Follows the directions of TPG building supervision and property management.

• Police and inspect restrooms as needed or to specifications per account service agreement. Clean and sanitize all sinks and toilets, clean mirrors, sweep and mop floors as necessary. Remove trash and replace bags as needed. Restock all paper products and soap as needed.

• Must be able to be self-directed and make decisions based on conditions of the account.

• Police and inspect all public areas, lobbies and entrances, empty all trash containers and replace bags as necessary. Spot clean doors, walls and glass. Pick up debris and mop up spills. Clean meeting rooms as requested.

• Responds to all requests from property management via radio, computer or other communication devices.

• Receives supplies and restocks janitor's closets

• Adhere to all applicable safety practices.

• Promote and exhibit Company culture and values.

• Ensure facilities are clean, projecting a positive image of the Company.

• Other duties as assigned by management.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Must be able to pass a background check.

• High school Diploma/GED

• Good Communication skills, must be able to read and write in English

• Some computer experience, answer emails or reply to work orders

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, bending, twisting and some repetitive arm and hand motion.

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds on a regular basis
