Groundskeeper

Position Available:
Full Time Groundskeeper - 2nd Shift

Scheduled:
Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00pm to 10:30pm at the Lake Orion School District.

Wage: $19.53/hour by coming to work on time, every day (Base wage $18.25)

• Maintains facility grounds, which includes cleaning the yard, trimming shrubbery, raking, planting, and weeding.
• Cleans parking lots and driveways.
• Removes snow from sidewalks and driveways and spreads sand, salt to prevent slipping, requiring additional hours to be worked before/after regular shift.
• Respond to scheduled and/or unscheduled Emergency events.
• Set up and clean up for outdoor and indoor athletic activities.
• Use approved methods and materials in cleaning and caring for assigned facility.
• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
• Operate floor equipment such as auto floor scrubbers and vacuums.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• General cleaning of furniture, windows, window sills, and walls.
• Stocking restrooms, janitorial closets and break rooms.
• Follow all safety standards as outlined in company policy and OSHA regulations.
• Additional duties as assigned or needed.

• GED/High School Diploma
• Valid driver’s license (no restrictions)
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be self‑motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a positive attitude which supports team performance and productivity.
• Must have team aptitude and approach.
