Day Porter

About the role

The Day Porter position is located onsite in Bridgman, MI. It will be a short‑term contract role starting mid‑September and ending mid‑October. The contractor will keep the facility clean and will report to the Utility Supervisor. The work schedule may include overtime.

• Removal of dirt and dust from floor area and connecting rooms, ramps and walkways using standard cleaning techniques.
• Dispose of all liquid cleaning solutions per client direction.
• Pull trash and replace liners.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets and sinks.
• Disinfect high‑touch service areas and refill disinfectant dispensers.
• Provide facility users with a healthy environment by using appropriate cleaning methods and products.
• Protect everyone's safety by using properly labeled chemicals, warn others of hazards, e.g., appropriate use of wet‑floor signs, and report safety concerns.
• Follow company and site regulations, procedures, safety standards and expectations.

• High School Diploma or educational equivalent.
• Must be age 18 or older.
• Must be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing.
• Must be a local candidate in the area.

Base salary range for this position is estimated to be $16/hour to $17/hour, dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills.
