Position Details

Position Available: Full Time Groundskeeper - 2nd Shift

Scheduled: Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00pm to 10:30pm at the Lake Orion School District.

Wage: $19.53/hour by coming to work on time, every day (Base wage $18.25)

• Maintains facility grounds, which includes cleaning the yard, trimming shrubbery, raking, planting, and weeding.
• Cleans parking lots and driveways.
• Removes snow from sidewalks and driveways and spreads sand and salt to prevent slipping, requiring additional hours to be worked before or after the regular shift.
• Responds to scheduled and/or unscheduled emergency events.
• Sets up and cleans up for outdoor and indoor athletic activities.
• Uses approved methods and materials in cleaning and caring for the assigned facility.
• Dusts, vacuums, sweeps, and mops.
• Operates floor equipment such as auto floor scrubbers and vacuums.
• Empties trash receptacles.
• General cleaning of furniture, windows, window sills, and walls.
• Stocks restrooms, janitorial closets, and break rooms.
• Follows all safety standards as outlined in company policy and OSHA regulations.
• Performs additional duties as assigned or needed.

• Some grounds experience required.
• GED/High School Diploma.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Maintains a positive attitude that supports team performance and productivity.
• Has a team aptitude and approach.
