Summary

Staff in this position assist with filling orders within our Sanco department on an as-needed basis. These staff are called in to work when order volume exceeds normal capacity, ensuring contracts remain active and the program remains successful.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assemble and fulfill parts orders for Sanco as assigned.
  • Transport materials and supplies as needed.
  • Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with agency and program policies and procedures.
  • Detect defects on small parts.
  • Participate in inventory processes as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or

Experience:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; 1–3 months related experience, training, or a combination of education and experience.

Language

Skills:

Understands safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; writes routine reports and correspondence.

Mathematical

Skills:

Basic arithmetic (add, subtract, count).

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Driver’s License (preferred).

Physical Demands

Frequent sitting and hand use; standing, walking, reaching, climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; speaking and hearing; lifting up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity for close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustments required.

Work Environment

Works near machinery or in vehicles. Occasionally exposed to wet/humid conditions and outdoor weather. Requires universal precautions, confrontation avoidance techniques, and occasional exposure to body fluids or client actions. Noise level is quiet to moderate.
