General Summary

This position provides adequate maintenance supervision and preventative maintenance on all Cluster equipment, buildings, and grounds to ensure the safety for all people, including staff and visitors, and to extend the life and appearance of these items.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs a variety of facility and equipment maintenance supervision duties. May perform or oversee various routine maintenance and repairs including oversight of vendors contracted for routine carpentry and plumbing duties based on skill level and experience.
  • Helps find Vendors with a variety of installation, repairs, and renovations to buildings including but not limited to electrical fixtures and switches, and semi-skilled tasks in construction, repair, and maintenance of wooden structures.
  • Oversee Vendors involved with installation, repair, and renovation of some equipment including electrical appliances, valves, water heaters, sinks, hand basins, kitchen appliances, and heating and cooling systems.
  • Oversees Vendors for Lawn and landscape duties.
  • Moving and transporting furniture and equipment.
  • Oversee upkeep a variety of gas-powered equipment; performs maintenance on the equipment mentioned.
  • Prioritizes and completes maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  • Is responsible for all the equipment and tools used.
Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar field with use of a variety of maintenance tools, equipment, and procedures.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with valid car insurance.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to move and load equipment and supplies that weigh 50 pounds or more.
  • Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, stoop, squat, reach, and climb ladders.
