Roofing ​/ Construction ​/ General Laborer - KP in Potterville

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect incoming pallets to identify damage, defects, and areas in need of repair

Use power tools to repair damaged pallets. Replace broken or missing components,

reinforce weak areas, and make necessary adjustments to restore pallets to usable

condition

Ensure that repaired pallets meet quality standards and comply with customer

specifications

Work efficiently to meet production quotas and deadlines while maintaining high-quality

standards

Turn in piecework sheets or other required paperwork daily to supervisor

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Be responsible for all personal tools (hammers, crowbar, wedge gun, etc.) and Personal

Protective Equipment (safety glasses, gloves, etc.)

Follow safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment and handling

materials to prevent accidents and injuries. Wear appropriate personal protective

equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety guidelines at all times

Know and observe rules of conduct at all times

Complete additional duties that are specific to your plant, as directed by your

supervisor (for example; saving reusable deck boards, spraying out heat treat stamps,

etc.)

Other duties as assigned by Plant Management

Previous experience in pallet repair, carpentry, woodworking, or a related field is

but not required. On-the-job training may be provided for candidates with a

strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy

materials (up to 75 pounds) and standing for extended periods

Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and

contribute to a positive work environment

Commitment to following safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and

ensure a safe work environment

Able to work in various weather conditions
