We are seeking a dedicated and active part-time janitorial worker to clean an industrial facility. This position requires working anytime after 3 pm for 4 hours each day. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in various areas such as offices, hallways, clean rooms, staircases, storage rooms, restrooms, and a café. This role involves physical activity, including using stairs, as the elevator is reserved for equipment use.

• Perform dusting, sweeping, mopping, and operating a floor scrubber.
• Replace trash bins and sticky mats located in front of cleanroom doors.
• Suit-up in a body suit, glasses, and hood to enter and clean clean rooms using a backpack vacuum, sterile mop, and bucket.
• Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly 'Purge' cleaning events in the clean rooms, cleaning countertops, walls, and ceilings respectively.
• Clean the café, including microwaves, fridges, and countertops.

• 1+ years of cleaning experience.
• Good attitude and personality.
• Dependability and consistency.
• Comfortable using a backpack vacuum.
• Willingness to wear proper lab equipment and follow dress code.

• Ability to operate a floor scrubber.
• Experience with custodial tasks, sweeping, housekeeping, vacuuming, cleaning, mopping, and dusting.
• Capability to clean safely and post wet floor signs.

Work inside a two-floor industrial facility with labs, office space, restrooms, and storage areas. Primarily work independently, with occasional teamwork for specific tasks. Part-time hours are flexible after 3 pm, with potential overtime up to 5 hours. Personal protective equipment is provided, and the dress code includes closed-toed shoes and khakis or nice pants.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dexter, MI.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
