Part-Time Custodial Position

Quincy Community Schools is currently looking for a Part-Time Custodian to join our custodial team and help us provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient place in which to learn. This is a 20-25 hours per week position, with a flexible schedule.

To be considered for this position, successful candidates should have:

• Knowledge of cleaning and general maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge in the operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to read and understand operating instructions.
• Knowledge of worker safety.
• Ability to see things that need to be done.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Initiative and ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to carry out directives, budget time and meet responsibilities on schedule.
• Ability to organize and carry out tasks in an efficient manner.
• Able to relate to people.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Custodial experience preferred.
