As a Snowcat Operator you are responsible for preparing and maintaining the skiing surface that is safe and functional for skiers and snowboards of all skill levels using grooming vehicles.

The Snowcat Operator's typical job functions included:

• Operate all slope-grooming equipment
• Building and maintaining Terrain parks, Winch cat operations, Free cat operation
• Maintainingmountain skiing surfaces to the finest level possible
• Safely operating a turbo-chargeddiesel powered snow groomer with hydrostatic drives, 12 way blade and multi-function rototiller rear implements
• Operating all machine functions, such as blade controls, rear implement controls and steering
• Minimizing down time through basis preventative maintenance, cleanliness and up-keep of machines
• Covering rocks and obstacles on slopes; moving snow from low wear areas to high wear areas
• Communicating as needed to shop mechanics concerningmechanical problems

This position may be for you if:

• 3 - 6 years of experience
• You are at least 18 years old
• You possess a valid driver's license
• You have achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• You are available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• You have one to three months related experience and/or training
