Roadside Technician (Commercial Tires ​/ Training Provided) - Findlay, OH

Job Overview

The role of the Roadside Technician is an emergency response tire technician for semi‑truck fleets. When a customer experiences a tire‑related failure, the Technician is dispatched to repair or change the tire. While awaiting service calls the Technician assists with mounting orders, shop cleaning, and general duties as needed.

Starting Pay: $24 hourly (training provided) — $27 hourly (experienced). Double pay for after‑hours service calls and weekly pay + OT opportunities.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional Saturdays as business needs require). The position includes mandatory on‑call rotation for after‑hours requests with premium pay and guaranteed minimums.

• Service commercial tires (dismount, mount, repair all types).
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI based on load requirements.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including wearing proper PPE, using tire cages, and following all safety policies and procedures.

• Valid driver’s license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous commercial service tire experience.
