State of Michigan's MDOT is hiring Transportation Maintenance Workers in the Superior Region for a limited-term winter assignment from Oct to Apr, with no guaranteed duration.
Responsibilities include maintaining state trunk lines, structures, and right-of-ways, operating heavy equipment (GVWR 26,001+), and possible overnight travel with occasional overtime. A CDL is required at hire; some roles may require pesticide applicator license; E8 level requires work-element certification.
