This part-time janitorial role offers a highly active position cleaning a multi-floor industrial facility that includes offices, labs, clean rooms, hallways, staircases, storage rooms, restrooms, and a café. You will work 4 hours each day, focusing on maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment through consistent, high-quality cleaning practices, including specialized work in controlled cleanroom spaces.

• Clean a variety of facility areas, including offices, hallways, clean rooms, staircases, storage rooms, restrooms, and café spaces on a weekly and as-needed basis.
• Perform daily janitorial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and emptying and replacing trash bins.
• Operate a floor scrubber and other provided cleaning equipment safely and efficiently to maintain floors and other surfaces.
• Suit up in required protective attire, including body suit, glasses, and hood, before entering clean rooms and ensure all cleanroom protocols are followed.
• Use a backpack vacuum, sterile mop, and bucket to clean cleanroom countertops and floors according to established standards.
• Maintain a safe work environment by cleaning safely and posting wet floor signs or other appropriate safety signage when necessary.
• Climb and use staircases frequently to move between floors, using elevators only for equipment transport as directed.
• Work mainly independently to complete assigned cleaning tasks, while collaborating with partners when needed for larger or more complex cleaning projects.
• Follow all facility procedures, including proper use and care of cleaning and protective equipment, and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues.

• At least 1 year of professional cleaning, janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience.
• Demonstrated ability to perform janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers and backpack vacuums, or willingness to learn.
• Capability and comfort working in cleanroom environments while wearing required protective gear such as body suit, glasses, and hood.
• Consistent dependability and reliability, with a strong record of attendance and punctuality.
• Positive attitude and professional, friendly personality when working independently or with partners.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, including cleaning safely and properly posting wet floor signs.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, and lift as needed throughout a 4-hour shift.

• Experience cleaning industrial facilities, labs, or similar environments.
• Familiarity with cleaning office spaces, restrooms, storage areas, and café or food service areas.
• Comfort working both independently and as part of a small team to complete shared cleaning tasks.
• Attention to detail when working in controlled environments such as clean rooms.
• Willingness to follow specific dress and protective equipment requirements.
• Basic understanding of safety and hazard awareness in a facility setting.
