The Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) is seeking a full‑time (37.5 hours/week) HVAC Supervisor (PCN 106571) for the Connecticut Valley Hospital (CVH) in Middletown.

Schedule

* 1st shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

* Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week

Position Highlights

* Supervise and coordinate HVAC technicians, assigning daily tasks and reviewing work quality to ensure efficient operations

* Provide hands-on training and technical support to staff, promoting skill development in HVAC maintenance, repair, and safety practices

* Conduct performance evaluations and establishes work priorities to ensure HVAC projects and service calls are completed on schedule

* Develop and maintain HVAC procedures, recommending updates to policies, standards, and workflows to improve unit performance

* Serve as liaison with internal departments, external agencies, and contractors, preparing reports and correspondence related to HVAC operations

A comprehensive medical examination, including drug screening, is required following a conditional offer of employment. All state employees must comply with Connecticut's Drug‑Free Workplace Policy.
