Overview

About the Role: As a Maintenance and Janitorial Crew Team Member you will play a vital role in ensuring that facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained to provide an exceptional experience for visitors and staff. Your efforts will directly contribute to the smooth operation of Dow Diamond by performing routine cleaning, minor repairs, and upkeep tasks. You will collaborate closely with other team members to address maintenance issues promptly and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.

This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving facility-related concerns. Ultimately, your work will help create an inviting and functional environment that supports the organization’s mission and enhances guest satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance work preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures related to cleaning and maintenance.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal, to maintain the cleanliness of public and back-of-the-house areas.
  • Set up and break down event spaces, ensuring all areas are clean and organized before and after events.
  • Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly to maintain a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.
