Provides fabrication and overhaul of refurbishment of packages. Assembles, repairs, rebuilds, and maintains Compressor Packages following the specifications of Estis Compression.

• Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness and improve safe work practices.
• Provide technical advice, coaching, and guidance to managers and employees on safety initiatives and necessary changes.
• Read and understand construction of projects to engineering drawings and designs.
• Fully understand Packaging Standards established by Compressor Manufacturers.
• Understand control panels and Variable Frequency Drives.
• Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.
• Maintain time and production records.
• Adhere to safety requirements by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, productive, efficient, and safe workplace through implementing common sense organizational processes, 5S methodology, and daily cleaning systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 5+ years shop or mechanic or related experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to be “on‑call” for emergencies when necessary.
• Skilled in organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization.
• Valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.

• Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, and use ladder for long periods of time daily.
• Lift up to 80 pounds as needed.
• Vision required: 20/40 with or without corrective lenses to accurately read all related distribution documents.
• Ability to communicate verbally using a telephone.

• Shop environment with controlled temperatures.
• Subject to outdoor environment with changing temperatures and climate.
