Sales Representative Field-Based - G reater Chicagoland Area
We’re seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to grow new business and expand existing accounts within an assigned territory. This field-focused role centers on prospecting, presenting solutions, and building long-term client relationships through a consultative sales approach.
You’ll engage directly with customers to understand their needs, deliver impactful presentations, and provide reliable service that supports retention and growth. Success in this role comes from strong communication, consistent follow-through, and the ability to work independently while managing a sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities
- Conduct sales meetings and presentations with prospective and existing clients
- Build and maintain trusted customer relationships
- Understand client needs and recommend tailored product or service solutions
- Provide responsive customer support throughout the sales process
- Manage accounts and track activity using CRM and sales tools
- Travel within the assigned territory as required
- Proven experience in outside or B2B sales and new account development
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
- Self-starter with the ability to manage time and priorities independently
- Comfort using CRM systems and basic sales technology
Experience in the facility supply or related industry is a plus
