Maintenance Supervisor

EMG is seeking a full-time
Maintenance Supervisor for a multifamily community in the Salt Lake area.

Qualified candidate will have outstanding problem solving and mechanical skills. If you are a high energy individual with a desire to make a real difference in people’s lives and a commitment to anticipate and exceed the expectations of our current and potential residents, then this is the job for you! The maintenance technician role prefers a background in carpentry, maintenance or similar fields.

The individual must have a professional appearance and strong communication skills to inform residents and management of issues and/or solutions.

• Receive and complete written work orders.
• General upkeep of the community, common areas and apartments.
• Pick up litter on the property daily to maintain a clean community for our residents. Minor landscaping touch-up as needed.
• Makes electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs.
• Ensure warranty work is followed up and completed by builder as this is a new building under warranty.
• Clears snow from walkways, communicates well with snow removal vendors to keep all areas clear of snow.
• Prepares vacant apartments for new residents.
• Manage and communicate effectively with large team and property manager.
• All and any tasks as assigned.

• Be familiar with hand and power tools and use them effectively.
• Be able to work in adverse weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screening.
• Must have basic tools.
