Facilities Technician I – Milford, CT
Serve as a subject‑matter expert in brewing, packing, and support equipment, ensuring safe, clean, and orderly maintenance areas and proper cleanup after work. Respond to production questions and equipment issues, observe operations to prevent or diagnose problems, and propose solutions to management.
Job Responsibilities- Complete at least 90% of assigned work orders and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks via the CMMS.
- Assign parts to work orders and include communication/findings in the work orders.
- Assist in pump rebuilds, calibrate wastewater pH probes, and independently complete PMs on packaging, brewing, and support equipment.
- Assume facilities apprentice responsibilities when needed.
- Identify, suggest, and discuss solutions to equipment and facility issues with management.
- Maintain respectful work communications and ensure thorough cleanup after maintenance work.
- Curious, proactive learner who continuously improves skills.
- Strong time‑management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and effective verbal and written communication.
- Honest, dependable, high integrity, team player, and passionate about the role.
- Previous facilities or mechanical experience required.
- Experience with a CMMS program (preferred but not required).
- Experience in manufacturing (preferred but not required).
- Electrical, plumbing, or sanitary welding experience (preferred but not required).
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Milford, CT - Salary:
Competitive based on experience with base wage and performance‑based bonuses. - Starting rate: $27.50 per hour.

Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands for finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, and taste or smell. Must regularly lift or move more than 50 pounds without assistance. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
