Custodian – Part-time
The Milford Department of Public Works – Facilities seeks a part‑time custodian for the Milford Police Department. Responsibilities include upkeep of offices, lunchrooms, and restrooms; emptying trash receptacles; vacuuming carpets; washing or waxing floors; cleaning windows; performing minor repairs; replenishing supplies; and, on occasion, setting up or tearing down for special events or assisting in custodial care of other town buildings.
Hours range from 15 to 19 hours per week, generally Monday through Friday, primarily evenings with occasional weekend work.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have a valid NH driver’s license, and have 6 months to 1 year of custodial experience. A pre‑employment physical and background checks are required. Pay is $23.00 per hour.
