About the Team
Dash Mart is a local‑fulfillment center owned and operated by Door Dash, offering customers household essentials and other items to their doorsteps with speed, reliability, and quality. The team fulfills orders in a real, brick‑and‑mortar store for Dashers to deliver. We’re open early and close late – some sites even run 24/7.
About the RoleDash Mart is looking for a motivated and experienced individual who excels in fast‑paced, physical environments to serve as a Shift Lead. In this role, you will work within a local fulfillment center to support site management, ensure smooth shifts, delegate tasks, and lead day‑to‑day operations in both a warehouse and light‑prep kitchen when applicable.
Key Responsibilities- Take ownership of assigned shifts, including warehouse and kitchen processes, safety/cleanliness, quality, and training.
- Maintain accountability for inventory, equipment, and other company assets to ensure they are properly handled, stored, and protected from loss or theft.
- Ensure customer orders are delivered with high quality by executing orders accurately, communicating with customers when issues arise, and making sure Dasher pickups go smoothly.
- Guide Operations Associates through their shift by ensuring the team works safely and productively and serving as the point of escalation for daily operations.
- Support operations in both the warehouse and kitchen, assist with day‑to‑day tasks, and lead by example while maintaining a positive and safe atmosphere for team members and customers.
- Contribute ideas to improve quality and the customer experience.
- Self‑motivated, positive team player with a great attitude.
- Proven track record of success in food and beverage, warehouse, and/or retail environments.
- Physically able to be on your feet, move heavy products, lift up to 50 lbs., and operate a pallet jack and hand truck.
- Ability and desire to obtain and maintain a food handling certificate (training will be provided).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (college diploma preferred but not required).
- At least 18 years of age.
- Organized and proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets.
- Flexibility in schedule; available for a variety of shifts per hiring site needs.
Base pay: $21.70 per hour. Compensation will be decided based on skills, experience, and work location. PaidTime Off Details
- Salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
- Hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked; paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
