INTRODUCTION TO ROLEOur Pool Operator will help ensure the safety and guest satisfaction of the assigned amenity. This role will oversee the attraction's day-to-day operations, including customer service, sales, operational requirements, and the key team members needed to provide a superior experience.
This is a part-time role

Perform daily cleaning of pools and pool decks, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and removing debris.
- Test and balance water chemistry daily, including chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and other required parameters to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of chemical readings, adjustments, and maintenance activities.
- Inspect and maintain pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, chemical feeders, and circulation systems.
- Backwash filters, clean baskets, and perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure all equipment operates efficiently.
- Monitor water clarity and overall pool conditions, and promptly address any issues that could affect guest safety or experience.
- Stock and safely handle pool chemicals and maintenance supplies in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures, including equipment startup, winterization, and deep cleaning.
- Ensure pool areas are clean, organized, and meet all local health department and company standards.
- Respond promptly to maintenance concerns and coordinate repairs when necessary.
As the Pool Operator, you will report to the General Manager, working closely with the Pool Staff and guests.

- Maintain weekly schedules for staff members
- Complete appropriate paperwork and administer discipline.
- Consistently practice safe work habits, including using Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), lifting, and reporting unsafe situations.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. The employee must frequently handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance and often stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
