Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Job Description
Focuses on maintaining and repairing vehicles within a fleet. Their primary purpose is to ensure the operational readiness, safety and reliability of the fleet by conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing necessary repairs.
This is a 2nd shift position, scheduled 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work as scheduled.
MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Performs basic inspections and preventative maintenance. Moves equipment as needed.
- Performs basic repairs and intermediate maintenance under supervision.
- Shop clean-up and organization.
- Utilizes the Fleet Maintenance software system program.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0 - 3 years’ relevant work experience.
- Basic computer competency.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s license.
