Senior Technician, Facility Services, Food Equipment

Position Summary
Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians! You will make an impact as a maintenance technician by diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance duties for all commercial equipment to support our Walmart stores. You will be responsible for developing preventative maintenance schedules and completing assigned PMs within the timeframe outlined, as well as conducting training for Store Associates on care and cleaning of equipment.

Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment). Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality. Manage work orders and routine maintenance schedules by providing required written and electronic information (expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs, etc.).

• Food Equipment:
  Combi ovens, deli slicers, auto meat cutters, fryers, hot cases, ice makers, pizza ovens, rotisserie ovens, thermoglazers, donut cases, four‑bowl warmers, bakery ovens, bread slicers, tortilla makers.
• Grease and Oil Systems:
  Oil/water separators, used cooking oil tanks.

• 5 years of experience in maintenance.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 1 year of experience with intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Vocational or technical certification and at least 3 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area (Option
  1) OR 6 years’ experience in the same areas (Option
  2).
• License in a related trade in the city and/or state where the job is located.
• Ability to read and speak English as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
• Mechanical maintenance or construction‑related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No serious traffic violations as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• Prior work experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Prior work experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Intermediate level proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
