Maintenance Technician

Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining our cabins, campground, and resort facilities while helping ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, takes pride in their work, and enjoys troubleshooting and solving a variety of maintenance issues.

• Perform preventative maintenance on cabins, campground facilities, and resort buildings.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.
• Complete painting, drywall repairs, and minor renovations as needed.
• Maintain grounds, trails, fences, docks, and other outdoor amenities.
• Inspect cabins before guest arrivals to identify and address maintenance concerns.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure cabins are guest-ready.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and report larger repair needs.
• Safely operate tools, equipment, and maintenance vehicles.
• Assist with special projects, resort improvements, and events as needed.
• Identify maintenance issues before they impact the guest experience.

• Previous maintenance, construction, handyman, or facilities maintenance experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and complete repairs efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
