Manufacturing Custodian

Job Summary
Under the supervision of the 1st Shift Manufacturing Team Supervisors, the Manufacturing Custodian position is required to perform a variety of maintenance duties including building maintenance, inspections and general cleanup. This will be achieved by maintaining Hellermann Tyton's IATF
16949/ISO
9001 Quality and ISO
14001 EMS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions and required documentation.

Essential Functions

• Cleans as directed by way of mopping, dusting, vacuuming, recycling, and trash removal.
• Keeps main aisleway areas clean and maintains them according to tour standards.
• Use floor scrubber to mop and maintaining clean floors daily
• Maintains the housekeeping storage room in a neat and organized fashion.
• Reports any maintenance concerns or repairs to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain general building and grounds including scrap wood, scrap metal, and parking lot cleanup
• Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times.
• Maintain a safe working environment.

Other Functions

• Assist Process Technicians on production floor
• Attend and successfully complete forklift certification
• Assist in Maintaining Hellermann Tyton's Quality Management System and ISO
  14001 certification by supporting:
• Corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation
• Other duties as assigned

Success in this role will require

• Maintain acceptable driving record
• Knowledge in ISO
  9001/IATF
  16949 quality systems
• Knowledge in ISO
  14001 environmental systems
• Knowledge of the corrective action process

What You'll Bring

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to perform duties on a ladder/scissors lift/forklift
• 6 months building maintenance required
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs and stand/ walk for up to 12 hours.
• Forklift experience preferred
