Field Service Technician
We are seeking a Field Service Technician who is a curious, mechanically minded problem-solver. This role requires individuals who enjoy diagnosing issues and working with their hands. You will be traveling across the region up to 50% of the time, so flexibility and adaptability are key. You must be a strong communicator, capable of confidently interacting with customers, explaining findings, and building trust.
Reliability, ownership, and accountability are essential traits for success in this role.
- Travel up to 50% across the region and occasionally to other states.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain findings and build trust.
- Work independently, manage your own schedule, and thrive in autonomy.
- Ensure precision, safety, and regulatory compliance in all tasks.
- Adapt to change and continuously build technical expertise.
- Use technology such as service software, tablets, and measurement instruments proficiently.
- Visit multiple customer sites daily, requiring a valid driver's license.
- Mechanical aptitude and electromechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Basic math skills and understanding of Excel for data entry.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with pharmacists, biomedical engineers, and directors.
- Ability to remain calm and troubleshoot in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree from a 2-year technical college or a 4-year program preferred, but not required.
- Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Presentation skills with the ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
You will be traveling to customer sites, including clean rooms, and working on equipment such as fume hoods, biosafety cabinets, medical HVAC systems, laminar flows, and autoclaves. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52,000.00 - $62,400.00 per year.
Medical: 100% for Employee & all Dependents.
Dental & Vision: 100% for Employee, 85% for dependents.
401K: 3% Match.
PTO:
Uncapped.
Cell phone reimbursement.
AMEX:
All employees get an American Express card.
Life Insurance LTD & STD.
Ownership Equity:
Initial Equity is 75-100% of first year salary—Increasing in value quickly.
This is a hybrid position in Milwaukee, WI.
