Job Description

This position requires traveling up to 50% of the time, potentially including plane travel out-of-state. The role includes some weekend work, compensated at an overtime rate when required, approximately 5% of the time. We seek mechanically minded problem-solvers who enjoy diagnosing issues and working with their hands. Successful candidates will be strong communicators who can confidently interact with customers, explain findings, and build trust.

Reliability, ownership, accountability, and follow-through are essential.

Responsibilities

+ Travel to various customer sites, potentially including out-of-state travel.

+ Work independently, managing your own schedule effectively.

+ Interact with customers, explaining diagnostic findings clearly.

+ Ensure precision, safety, and regulatory compliance in all tasks.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

+ Model company values such as integrity, openness, urgency, and embracing change.

+ Utilize technology such as service software, tablets, and measurement tools efficiently.

+ Drive to multiple customer sites as part of daily responsibilities.

Essential Skills

+ Technical aptitude in mechanical and electrical systems.

+ Proficiency in Excel for data entry and using formulas.

+ Ability to travel frequently within a 4-hour radius and occasionally out-of-state by plane.

+ Valid driver's license.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience or certification in clean room environments (NSF, CETA certifications preferred).

+ 2-year program or 4-year degree preferred but not required.

+ Strong presentation and high-level communication skills, especially with pharmacists and biomedical engineers.

+ Electromechanical skills to troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical systems.

Work Environment

This role involves traveling to various customer sites such as clean rooms, medical device, and pharmaceutical facilities. You will work on equipment including fume hoods, biosafety cabinets, medical HVAC systems, laminar flow cabinets, and autoclaves. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $93600.00/yr.
