Job Description

As a Field Service Technician, you will be on the road daily, traveling to various customer sites which can range from 10 minutes to 2 hours away, with an average daily travel time of 1-2 hours one way. Once you are up to speed, expect 50% of your travel to be overnight, including potential plane travel out-of-state. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and a knack for solving problems independently.

You should be a proactive communicator, capable of explaining technical findings to customers and building trust.

Responsibilities

+ Travel to customer sites, including compounding pharmacies, hospital ORs, and pharmaceutical manufacturers, to certify clean rooms.

+ Perform tasks such as scanning HEPA filters, conducting particle counts, and measuring pressure, temperature, and humidity levels.

+ Own customer relationships and document findings in Excel reports.

+ Troubleshoot and perform repairs, including filling holes in filters, replacing blower motors, and conducting preventative maintenance.

+ Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical and electromechanical aptitude.

+ Basic math skills.

+ Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.

+ Ability to work independently and manage one's own schedule.

+ Strong communication and presentation skills.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Degree from a 2-year technical college or a 4-year program is preferred but not required.

+ Comfortable using technology such as service software, tablets, and reporting tools.

+ Ability to remain calm under pressure and troubleshoot effectively.

+ Curiosity and adaptability in learning new technical skills.

This role involves traveling to customer sites, working in clean rooms, fume hoods, biosafety cabinets, and medical HVAC systems. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring adaptability and precision. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
