Pay Range: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and oversee the reliability, safety, and efficiency of production equipment and facility systems. This leadership role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, supervising technicians, prioritizing repairs, and ensuring preventive maintenance programs are effectively executed.
The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background, proven leadership skills, and the ability to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily activities of maintenance technicians and maintenance personnel.
Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance programs for production equipment and facility systems.
Lead troubleshooting and repair efforts to minimize equipment downtime and maintain production efficiency.
Prioritize maintenance work orders and ensure timely completion of repairs and projects.
Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for reliability improvements.
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation.
Collaborate with production, quality, sanitation, and management teams to address equipment and facility needs.
Assist with budgeting, inventory management, and procurement of maintenance supplies and parts.
Train, mentor, and develop maintenance team members to improve technical skills and performance.
Support facility maintenance, utilities, and infrastructure projects as needed.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, productivity, and cost reduction.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation.
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and respond effectively to equipment emergencies.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and operational excellence.
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Experience in manufacturing, food processing, packaging, distribution, or similar industrial environments.
Working knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, and facility systems.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Technical degree, maintenance certification, or related training preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical education is a plus.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, squat, climb ladders, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving equipment, moderate noise levels, varying temperatures, and cleaning chemicals.
Availability to respond to maintenance emergencies and support off-shift operations as needed.
