HVAC Controls Technician; Team

Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire an HVAC Controls Technician to work for a large client in Kenosha, WI. You will deal with the elements of running through point to points, calibrations, functional and integrated system testing, coordination with the project managers, and more. This role requires a strong understanding of control systems, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

This position is part of the travel team, however, it is anticipated that hired individuals will be working on a project in Kenosha for ~ 1‑3 years. You must be willing to travel via plane and flexible to work long hours if needed. Flight and hotel accommodations are covered by the company.

• Daily startup procedures.
• Running point‑to‑point checks (ensuring peripheral devices work with the controller).
• System startup.
• Functional testing (executing commissioning scripts).
• Communication and coordination with the project manager.

• 2 years of HVAC Controls Experience
• Experience with PLCs
• Experience with BAS:
  Building Automation Systems
• Familiar with blueprints
• Computer savvy including Microsoft Excel
• Must have commercial/industrial experience – Experience with Medesis
• Experience with CCT:
  Controller Configuration Tools and SCT:
  System Configuration Tools
