Roll Off Driver

Position SummaryThe Roll Off Driver will respond to crew and customer requests for roll‑off dumpster pick‑up and delivery, assisting with load securement and maintaining inventory.
Job Functions- Drive a roll‑off dumpster to and from job sites, customer locations, and landfill.
- Assist with operating the dump trucks as necessary.
- Assist with the organization and cleanliness of warehouse, parking areas, and all yard property rented or owned by Tecta America.
- Maintain inventory of dumpsters.
- Communicate daily with superintendents by 3:30 pm each day to prepare needs for the following workday.
- Assist crew with load securement as necessary.

- Previous experience operating a roll‑off
- Previous construction experience preferred
- Valid Driver’s License:
Commercial Class B CDL (Commercial Class A CDL preferred) - Hazmat Endorsement
- DOT requirements and clean driving record
- Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Compliance with workplace policies and procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control
- Active participation in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety
- Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplace
Physical surroundings:
Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature. Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, both hot and cold and in windy conditions.
Physical effort:
The job requires sitting, using hands to finger, handle or feel, climbing ladder, bending, kneeling, typing, talking, hearing. The employee must also stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Travel:
Over 20% travel required.
Hours:
Subject to overtime.
