Part-Time (Two shifts available: 6:00 a-10:00 a OR 1:00 p-5:00 p)

Collective Montessori School Inc is an independent charter school created to provide children with an inclusive, diverse, authentic, and community-centered Montessori education. Our mission is to provide children with hands‑on, real‑world, engaging and exceptional instruction that follows each individual child and promotes collaboration among home, other students, and school staff.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, a flexible mindset, and the ability to prioritize the health and safety of students.

• Clean and sanitize school facilities: sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect classrooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, offices, and common areas to maintain a clean and healthy learning environment.
• Maintain building safety and appearance: empty trash and recycling, clean windows and floors, replenish restroom supplies, and ensure all school spaces are safe, orderly, and presentable for students, staff, and visitors.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs: complete minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixing door hardware, tightening furniture, changing ceiling tiles, and report larger maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with school operations and events: set up and take down tables, chairs, and equipment for assemblies, meetings, parent events, and other school activities, ensuring spaces are prepared and restored thereafter.
• Support health, safety, and emergency preparedness: monitor the building for safety hazards, secure doors and windows, respond promptly to spills or emergencies, and follow school procedures for cleaning, safety, and emergency response.

• Must be able to pass a background check.

Commercial cleaning experience required.

Salary Range: $16-$20, based on experience.
