JHCC-SNF - MILWAUKEE, WI 53202
Job Shift: PM - 2nd
Position SummaryCleaning and maintaining of walking surfaces, including but not limited to carpets of all types, vinyl floors, ceramic and other type tiles and surfaces.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Works alone or with other staff as needed
- Answers all radio calls promptly related to floor maintenance.
- Maintain and clean all floors as scheduled.
- Maintain all floor care equipment in as new condition.
- Learn and understand how equipment works.
- Learn and understand manufacturer recommendations for cleaning and maintaining floors.
- Learn and understand how to maintain different types of floors (IE stripping, waxing, scrubbing, extracting, and polishing.)
- Reports to Manager any problems with floors, equipment, procedures etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. - Work Experience:
Prior experience in commercial floor care is essential.
