Facilities Maintenance

WISCS.org seeks a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team committed to improving community services. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the physical infrastructure of our facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for the community and staff. This position requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to maintaining our standards of excellence in facility management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Identify and resolve issues related to building repairs and enhancements, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in the implementation of new building projects and renovations.
• Manage maintenance inventories and procure supplies as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and resolve issues efficiently.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to handle physical workload and operate maintenance equipment safely.
